Beer Can Races!
The Rudder Club is having informal racing every Friday night at 6:30pm throughout daylight savings time. All members and their guests are encouraged to join in and should plan to arrive at the club by 6:00pm. This is a great regular event for those without a boat, or those unsure of their skills out on a race course can crew with more experienced sailors. Room can always be made on the Flying Scots and several of the big boats go out every week with room for more crew onboard. The water has warmed up and the catamarans and lasers are starting to join in.
After racing we have a “bring your own” cookout. The crowd from last year would take turns bringing burgers and dogs and keep a supply at the club. It’s “bring your own” drinks also as the club’s bar is not open for these events. So come out and join in on the fun and enjoy your club.
