Introduction to Racing
An introduction to racing (dinghies, keelboats, and catamarans). If you would like to try racing (or want a refresher), Jon Hamilton will discuss the basics of racing—procedures (starting, how courses are laid out), some basic rules, and some basic tactics. Then come out on Sunday, June 22, for the second Summer Series race and try out your knowledge. The Summer Series will have a single-distance race on July 20 and August 10 (Sundays), so you can try racing in a different setting.
